°µÍø½ûÇø will require on-campus students to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for the 2021-22 academic year. All undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students will need proof of vaccination to return to any °µÍø½ûÇø campus in fall 2021.
"°µÍø½ûÇø will require student vaccines for their own safety and the safety of others," said Ali Malekzadeh, °µÍø½ûÇø president. "All students are encouraged to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible."
With wider distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine and continuing downward trends in cases, °µÍø½ûÇø plans to offer many more classes face to face this fall. Students who will not be on campus at all are not required to provide proof of vaccination.
"°µÍø½ûÇø understands the incredible importance of in-person learning," said Malekzadeh. "Returning to in-person classes gives students more opportunities to build those close connections with their fellow students and faculty."
