The clinic provides pro bono and low-cost basic legal services to °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s students, faculty, and staff, as well as Chicago and Lake County residents who are in need of these types of services.
Services provided include: wills, trusts, Powers Of Attorney for health and property; bankruptcies; creating LLCs, corporations, and aiding in essential Secretary of State business filings; family court matters; and small claims court advising.
The clinic has also created partnerships with law firms and non-profit groups enabling the clinic to refer clients out for pro bono and low-cost support on more complex legal matters such as immigration and personal injury matters.

Chicagoland attorneys who are interested in donating pro bono services for the clinic, or °µÍø½ûÇø students and employees who are interested in volunteering to assist with the clinic should email rulegalclinic@roosevelt.edu.
Students in °µÍø½ûÇø's bachelor's in paralegal studies and post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate programs can intern at the Clinic for academic credit.
°µÍø½ûÇø offers a variety of other academic programs dealing with the law, such as a BA in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. Students from a variety of degree programs can benefit from our prelaw advising.
