A nontraditional learner, deaf since age six, transgender and a former foster youth, Asher has brought their advocacy work into �������� classrooms, boardrooms and beyond.

Joining the station’s "Making a Difference" segment, President Ali highlighted ��������'s continued efforts to accept and platform students and faculty of all backgrounds.

The empowering event focused on allyship, mental health awareness, financial literacy and civic engagement.

The event formally began the University's 80th anniversary celebration and was attended by nearly 200 alumni, faculty, corporate partners and Board of Trustees members.
